Giraffes

A Giraffe is a Mammal and giraffes are herbivores so they don’t eat meat.

Giraffes have long tails. Giraffes have different patterns. Giraffes legs are very long and strong. Giraffes have two ossicones on their head.

Giraffes live in the savannas in a country called Africa.

Giraffes can get away from their predators easily but when giraffes drink at the water hole they have to split their legs to drink and they cant straighten their legs fast enough to get away from their predator the Lion. Giraffes eat leaves from trees and they don’t chew until they bring their food back up. When Giraffes eat their leaves that get moisture from it that’s why they don’t go to the water hole every hour.
